Due to the weather forecast, the first edition of the “Bellano Enduro Urban Cup” race scheduled for Sunday 3 May is postponed to Tuesday 2 June 2015.
The organizing committee has taken this decision because it intends to carry out the race in the best conditions, both of safety and of athletic gesture. Then because a well-made event does not end with the crossing of the finish line, but also with the possibility for all the athletes and the public to cheer up to the last competitor, and then together carry out the awards ceremony and celebrate by the lake.
The program and the type of event remain unchanged, on Tuesday 2 May the first edition of the Bellano Enduro Urban Cup will start, an Enduro mountain bike race that sees the second special stage in the urban environment between the streets and mule tracks of Bellano, to invite to rediscover the beauties of Lake Como. Departure and arrival are set in Bellano, the event is open to everyone, professionals and amateurs, in a fun and exciting formula; at this point registrations on www.lakecomo.bike are reopened until Wednesday 27 May pv.
We remind you that the route will consist of the uphill part on the road and then two timed Special Stages: you start from the Bellano town hall and cycle for about 5 km until you reach Pradello, where the first timed special stage starts in the woods of the length of about one kilometer and eight hundred meters up to Lezzeno. From here a short transfer to reach Ombriaco alto, where the second completely urban special stage will be held: all between alleys, stairways, mule tracks and artificial obstacles.
