The Bam! arrives in Mantua from 9 to 11 June 2023

Thousands of bicycle travelers under the same sky, that of Mantua: from 9 to 11 June 2023, in front of the suggestive lakes of the city, BAM! is back, the largest European gathering of cycle travellers.

For BAM! it will be the ninth edition, always under the banner of a formula that is as simple as it is engaging: starting from home by bicycle to all arrive in the same place, sharing roads, stories, passions and above all the desire to go far, one ride after another.

BAM!, born in 2015, has proved to be much more than an event, becoming a movement right from the start, a cultural point of reference for all those who experience cycling not from a sporting perspective, but as an experience and as an occasion knowledge of people and places.

And so it is every year: at BAM! people and cyclists of all kinds arrive and with all types of bikes, all united by the desire to pedal, explore and share.

No event in Europe has demonstrated the same ability to put people in the saddle, pushing them to fill their bags or a backpack and go, more or less far.

This is also the sustainable philosophy of BAM!; get there by pedaling, from home or at least the last km, using public transport. It has been calculated, in a very approximate and equally exciting way, that on the occasion of the last edition at least 200.000 km were covered by bike by the participants to get to Mantua, which during the BAM! undergoes a merry invasion of travellers.

What happens to the BAM?

meetings, music, workshops, bike rides: from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon the program follows two lines.
For those who want to participate, the days are full of workshops, meetings with travellers, artists, companies and all those who have a travel story to share; for those who want to experience BAM! with a more relaxed spirit, music, a beer, the possibility of exploring the area or simply enjoying the beauty of the place are never missing.

The presence of foreigners is also growing, increasingly inserting BAM! on their trip to Italy.

BAM! it is also a precious opportunity to take stock, every year, of a movement that is growing both in numbers and as a type of enthusiast, involving more and more young people and women, not always so represented in the classic events. Even companies and territories come to BAM! to meet a large community in continuous evolution, confirming that slow tourism represents a concrete development opportunity for territories and companies.

This year as always BAM! it will be full of magnificent stories, often experienced by ordinary people who have simply decided to pedal far away: it is the magic of the bicycle.

BAM! it is a free event, with an obligation to register online (possible after mid-December).

The tent places, limited, will be on sale at the same time.
