With the opening of the Bosco Express and Chalet Express ski lifts and the first runs on the Bike Park lines, the mountain bike season has officially started in La Thuile. The Ancillotti Team athletes who have chosen La Thuile to create a photo shoot with Alex Luise, test the material and the new Scarab EVO 2020 along the trails of the Aosta Valley location are also in action.

La Thuile is famous in the enduro scene for the high technical content of the trails that over the years have hosted major national and international events, but the ski lifts also give access to a great variety of less known mountain itineraries and at the same time highly scenic and adventurous, ideal for what the Ancillotti boys had in mind.

"The geometries can also be pushed but today the settings, the wheel diameters and other technical solutions allow to radically modify the character of a bike making it more docile and accommodating or nervous and aggressive based on the type of riding that you have in mind”Tomaso Ancillotti tells us.

The idea of offering a performing vehicle when the stopwatch is at stake, but at the same time playful and fun, is the new challenge of the historic Florentine brand and with this idea in mind Tomaso found the right solution in the La Thuile path network. terrain to let your kids and their bikes ride for miles and we are not just talking about downhill.

With an exceptional guide Mitch Angelini, a veteran of the team and a profound connoisseur of this territory, the team went out early in the morning both on Saturday and on Sunday to discover the opportunities riding of this versatile mtb destination going up to over 2.600 m at Chaz Dura and then down to La Thuile for over 25 minutes of non-stop descent.

"The beauty of going out with a guide and I also say this as a rider to those who are already strong, is precisely that of being able to make the most of the potential of a location inside and outside the park. We guides know every corner of our mountains and we immediately realize, even simply by talking to the biker who comes to visit us, the most suitable tour for him.”Says Mitch Angelini of the La Thuile MTB School.

The result of this fun mountain bike weekend is enclosed in the shots by Alex Luise that recount the days of the Ancillotti Team in La Thuile, the welcome of the locality and its spectacular trails among the highest alpine peaks. 2020 is to take the opportunity to experience epic mtb days here in La Thuile, a place that knows how to offer great emotions and whose staff is already working in a 2021 perspective with the restyle of some lines and development of new tracks in prediction of the return of major events.
