Having archived a very successful 2023 edition, it is already time to look to the future for Appenninica MTB Stage Race.

In its first five editions, the stage race in the Apennines of Emilia-Romagna has become the reference Italian event for the world of multi-day mountain bike racing and one of the most anticipated events at European level. From here we start again towards a new adventure, scheduled from 2 to 7 September 2024.

As in the last year, the sixth edition of the Appenninica MTB Stage Race will take place along six stages after the excellent feedback obtained from the organizers of ASD Happy Trail MTB. In fact, this formula allows for simpler logistical management for many participants, while at the same time enhancing the spectacle of one of the toughest competitions in the panorama of mountain bike stage races.
“The ingredients will all be there again with the route remaining central: challenging, like a true mountain bike, and with the Emilia-Romagna Apennines always the absolute protagonist – say Milena Bettocchi and Beppe Salerno, co-organisers of the stage race -. We want to continue to grow one step at a time and in 2024 we already have some innovations in mind that will make the spectacle and beauty of the Emilia-Romagna Apennines even more enjoyable."
REGISTRATIONS OPEN FROM 1ST DECEMBER
The announcement of the 2024 dates also brings with it the opening of registrations. The “Early Bird” phase is scheduled to start on Friday 1st December, making a maximum of 50 registrations available at a discounted price of €1350, until 31st December or while places last. Appenninica MTB Stage Race is a full service race and the registration cost includes not only the race bib but also accommodation, refreshments and meals, healthcare, bike washing, transfers between stages and other services (all the details on Appenninica -mtb.com). From January 1st, or when Early Bird registrations are exhausted, the price will increase for subsequent phases.

Registrations are limited in number with a maximum of 150 participants in order to avoid overcrowding on the paths and ensure high quality standards of support for the race for all participants. Also for the 2024 edition the organizers have decided to confirm the individual race formula which makes the challenge even more demanding and electrifying.
