It's not quite how I imagined ending the season, but it happens. A rather terrible crash in free practice led me to a quick helicopter trip to the hospital and a scary couple of hours to figure out what the damage was. I'm still getting a couple of results, but I know I have 3 fractured vertebrae. The good news is that they are stable, the bad news is that I will be in collar for the next three months. Gutted about not being able to compete in the final race but I'm pretty excited to be finished 10th overall and still be protected for 2023. Thanks for all the kind messages from everyone and will keep you posted when I know more.. - Greg Minnaar
