Take Care of Your Trails turns 10!

A cycling family celebrates 10 years of Take Care of Your Trails.

2026 marks a special milestone: the 10th anniversary of the campaign Take Care of Your Trails.

Over the past ten years, thousands of volunteers have shaped, repaired, and protected the trails we all love to ride. What began as a simple local initiative has grown into a full-fledged European movement celebrating the people behind our singletrack.

Today, as trail work becomes increasingly professional across Europe, we want to reiterate a key message: volunteering remains the beating heart of our community.

This edition is dedicated to you

Whether you picked up a shovel in 2017 or participated for the first time last year, the tenth edition is dedicated to:

  • Your stories
  • Your community
  • The results you have built
  • The concrete impact you continue to have on the territories

Share your story

Have you participated in a past TCoYT excavation day?

Tell us:

  • How has your group evolved?
  • What have you achieved in these years?
  • What do those trails mean to you and your community?

Fill out our short Google form and send us some photos: they will be published in weekly stories throughout the campaign.

Participate in May

During the month of May you will be able to:

  • Organize or participate in a trail maintenance day
  • Celebrate volunteers in your area
  • Participate in the European Contest
  • Win awards and recognition (coming soon!)

No dig, no ride.

Ten years later, the message is still simple.

Thanks to everyone who was part of this journey.
Let's make the 10th edition the biggest ever!
