After a one-year break from the enduro scene, the #superenduroisback national circuit is back on the scene
The rumors and rumors that have been circulating with increasing insistence in the sector for several weeks are finally confirmed: 2016 will see the restart of the Superenduro racing circuit.
It took a year to revive the motivation to leave again. Surely the fact that in 2015 he collaborated again in two successful events such as the Coppa Italia Enduro in Sestri Levante and La Thuile, shared the difficulties and satisfactions of the complex final of the EWS circuit in Finale Ligure and last but not least participated in the birth of something innovative and strong as the B-Road has helped to convince and be convinced of the validity of the working group, of the quality of the organizational level that the Superenduro Team is able to put in place.
The necessary forced stop to which the Superenduro went against, was soon followed by an equally strong recognition of the work done and by a very welcome and composed request from many of you to come back into the game. This made the management reflect and convinced the organization to get back into the game by bringing the accumulated experience to the service of a new rebirth.
The decision is made, in 2016 the Superenduro circuit restarts with a new and current vision of Italy.
Some important variations will be introduced designed to encourage the participation and enjoyment of many amateurs as well as high-level Italian teams and teams. Examples are the return to the one-day race with tests on Saturday, the better distribution of competitions on the territory and not least a growing dialogue with the many regional circuits in order to develop more and more intelligent and well-studied national calendars in the years to come. allow everyone to participate in as many races as possible.
“I like going to races on the weekend” says the technical director Franco Monchiero. “I like to organize them in the best possible way, breathe the tension in the air, watch the results as they come out, these are all emotions that I experience with extreme passion and involvement. I have always raced in my life and I want people to get excited again at the races together with Superenduro. Enduro in mtb is still in strong evolution, we are experiencing a lot at all levels. For our part, we have the organizational experience and the sporting sensitivity to do a good job in the coming years ".
Another important novelty is dedicated to the localities, new and already known. All will have the opportunity to officially apply from one year to the next, guaranteeing a turnover of the circuit's stages from season to season to the full advantage of enthusiasts of the pleasure of driving in ever-changing places, as Enrico Guala also confirms with his words : “It is the paths that inspire us to travel, discover and explore and it is they that ultimately bring us joy. The discovery of a new trail, the adrenaline provided by the unknown, the amazement in front of wonderful and unexpected scenarios, are the essence of riding on a mountain bike, the basis of the experience that each of us builds in our life as a biker”.
Behind these choices there is therefore the desire to resume the path started in 2008 and redo it from the "bottom", starting from the basics from the essence of mountain biking: the trails.
The dates will be announced soon that for now we can only tell you that there will be four, four events in which to share again the passion for enduro, a discipline that is not dead as some like to think, a discipline that embodies the original spirit of mountain biking. and that the regional and interregional circuits have kept alive with great passion and commitment, during this year of Superenduro stop. Three appointments have already been defined while the fourth is still being studied and we therefore invite the places that think they have what it takes to organize a Superenduro to come forward.
Now the Italian enduro is ready to start again in 2016! The goal of Superenduro is to build a solid base for the movement, thanks to real support from the industry, which after a year of pushing for the circuit to return, is now called to actively take the field, by the media. who will find in the Superenduro interesting contents for their readers, and finally with an outstretched hand to welcome suggestions and proposals from all the actors and enthusiasts involved, even more than in past years.
