LA THUILE SUPERENDURO, THE BUOY ROUND OF THE NATIONAL ENDURO CIRCUIT IN MOUNTAIN BIKE PLANNED FOR 15/16 JULY IN LA THUILE.

The Superenduro national circuit is preparing for a new Alpine stage, La Thuile and the magnificent mountains of the Aosta Valley will be the scene of the third round of the season, an epic race valid as Enduro World Series Qualifier

In an escalation of emotion and adrenaline rush, after the opening of Gualdo Tadino in Umbria and the second stage in Canazei in Trentino, the Superenduro now lands in a location that has recently written important pages in the world enduro, La Thuile.

When you mention La Thuile, memories hardly do not return to the Enduro World Series 2016 stage. A crazy event that for the quality of the trails, the organizational level, the participation of the public and the media response has literally moved the bar one step forward in the world of competitions. on mountain bike, winning the prestigious Pinkbike Awards as the best Enduro event of the year.

After only 4 years from its debut in the world of enduro competitions, La Thuile Natural Trail Area has already collected 2 Enduro World Series events, a stage of the Italian Enduro Cup and is now preparing to host a stage of the reference National Circuit for the first time. , the Superenduro.

Always impeccable the commitment and work of the La Thuile Mtb crew and the Piccolo San Bernardo SPA lift company, who also on this occasion intend to leave their mark:
Enrico Martello Bike Park manager currently working with the trail builder staff on the trails declares: “We are imagining a race that reflects the race character of La Thuile. Compared to previous years we have revised some passages and opened totally new lines that will be included in the race. There will be a mix of lifts and pedaled and the result will be a complete race with a good mix of physical and technical. The Superenduro is a historic and high-level circuit, very important also at an international level and for this reason our goal is to give our best also on this occasion ”.

The race scheduled for 15/16 July is one of the only two Italian events to be valid as Enduro World Series 2017 qualifying events and this will guarantee a strong international connotation to the event. In addition to all the top Italian riders committed and fighting for the current championship, there will be many foreign riders willing to earn as many points as possible to gain privileged access to the 2018 EWS world championship.

The technical level of the race will be top notch, the paths of La Thuile with their highly natural character are now an icon in the sector and are recognized by all as challenging and highly selective as well as fun. Added to this is the use of the ski lifts for transfers that will allow the organizers to design a race course with significant differences in height and many minutes of timed special stages.

Matteo Berta and Lorenzo Suding are two of the most anticipated Italian top riders on the Valle d'Aosta trails of La Thuile. The air and the cheering of the home - Matteo Valle d'Aosta by adoption - could push these two very fast athletes of the Cpz Airoh Ion Santacruz Team very forward, a fate that could also affect local hero Michel Angelini always at ease on the La Thuile trail. In the positions that count, despite the double from Matteo Raimondi Team GB Rifar Racing, who remains the man to beat, the fight is still open with at least five other riders all potentially on the top step of the podium.

The show in La Thuile for this third round of the Superenduro season is guaranteed so start by leaving the calendar free for July 15/16 the great mountain bike is back in Valle d'Aosta!
