Superenduro and Bike-Up, the 2017 novelties in the e-mtb field

Source: press release

On the occasion of the two stages of Canazei and La Thuile, parallel to the competing category, the E-Bikes will be represented by a specific exhibition area and tourist format.

The E-MTB movement is in constant ferment all over the world and the enormous potential that lies behind these vehicles is under the eyes of all, able to stimulate the most competitive athlete as much as to approach the untrained user and even get the whole family to agree.

Precisely in this perspective, the collaboration between the Superenduro Circuit and the leading exhibition event in Italy in the BikeUP electric bike sector was born, which will characterize the two stages of Canazei and La Thuile respectively on 18 June and 16 July.

While the Superenduro has embraced the federal E-MTB regulation and introduced some small changes to the race format such as the complete development of the lap and no longer reduced to allow all participants not to lose even a meter of adrenaline. and fun, on the other hand, it shares the thoughts of the BikeUp staff and firmly believes that the value of E-Bikes can also be sought elsewhere, in the tourist experience for example.

"We are very happy to support two of the stages of the Superenduro championship: from this year the weekends in Canazei and La Thuile will offer the public and tourists not only entertainment and adrenaline, but also e-bike excursions for everyone to discover the territory in a pleasant and fun way. And then many e-bikes on test in the village with the main e-bike brands on display ”says Stefano Forbici of BikeUp.

Since its inception, the Superenduro has valued the place where the event took place, contextualizing the competition and dressing it on the territory.
Today with BikeUp, it intends to give life to even more complete and interesting events for localities and companies, involving and within the reach of a very wide heterogeneous public and not necessarily technical and passionate about competitive sport.

BikeUp Circus and TrailUp were born from this idea, the two main initiatives that will run parallel to the Superenduro race in the Canazei and La Thuile stages, designed for an audience that wants to get to know the area from a more touristic point of view.

BikeUP Circus is a unique opportunity to see and above all try pedal assisted bicycles. The integration of BikeUp Circus with the exhibition area of the Superenduro event will give life to a large and increasingly active Event Village, where you can gain confidence and enrich your knowledge of the MTB sector at 360 °, including E-MTB.

"As organizers of the Superenduro stage of Canazei, we are happy to host BikeUp Circus and TrailUp, events we care about especially because they represent an important tourist showcase and above all because e-bikes help bikers of any level to enjoy of the immense natural heritage represented by the Dolomites (World Heritage Site), with respect for the environment and doing an activity that helps to improve psycho-physical fitness ". Says William Basilico asd Fassabike events manager.

During the BikeUP Circus dates, TrailUp will also be organized, an e-bike experience immersed in the territory where expert guides will accompany visitors on a half-day excursion according to an exquisitely touristic format for a complete and pleasant experience. TrailUP is open to everyone and is much more than a pedal assisted bicycle test, it is an e-bike excursion enriched by the discovery of the landscape, historical, cultural and food and wine peculiarities of the area.

More information and details on these topics will soon be disseminated through official channels. BikeUP and Superenduro are waiting for you!
