The wizard of Cannondale's custom paint shop, Rob Nicholas, is always full of ideas, such as the stunning “Changeout” bikes used by the EF Education-EasyPost team at this year's Giro d'Italia and loads of other incredible projects long before that. Charlie Aldridge won the UCI XC U23 World Championship. Mona Mitterwallner dominated in her own way, winning first the World Marathon and then the World Cup stages in Les Gets and Andorra.
He then crossed, mixed and matched these bases until he had four completely unique paint schemes, emphasizing different colors in different areas of each. The result is four completely distinct bikes, but characterized by a common visual theme. He and Cannondale's head of internal design Ryan Chung named this style “CFR: Remixed.
We are curious to see them in action in the American stage of Snowshoe where the Scalpel Remixed of Alan, Mona, Charlie and Simon will surely be protagonists in this final part of the World Cup season.
