Brembo ski, the most important and famous ski area in the Bergamo area, which includes Foppolo, San Simone and Carona, finally has its own bike park. On Sunday 6 July, in fact, the inauguration party is scheduled with an open day of the slopes and the facility (free for the whole day) and tasting of typical products of the Brembana valley. You're all invited!

Here we are! After years of projects, ideas, expectations, it now seems done. In Foppolo, in the upper Brembana Valley in the province of Bergamo, the last preparations are underway to "polish" the three tracks of the new Bike park which will open at the beginning of July. Sunday 6, in fact, the inauguration party is scheduled with an open day of the slopes and the facility (free for the whole day) and tasting of typical products of the Brembana Valley.

The two main slopes, basically Freeride / DH complete with banks, drops and artificial jumps, from 2.072 meters above sea level wind under the Montebello and Quarta Baita lifts, modern four-seater chairlifts, and practically end in the village of Foppolo in the Piazzale of the Hotels, at an altitude of 1.635 meters above sea level
The third option, for lovers of more "natural" and enduro routes, more or less with the same starting and ending point, is represented by a rather technical single track with lots of rocks and roots. Another track is also planned that will connect Montebello with Val Carisole and, essentially, with Carona and various all mountain routes, including the “classic climb” to the Longo and Calvi Refuges.

The bike park is located in a high mountain area and landscape value with the facilities that, in addition to serving gravity lovers who will use the real tracks, will also be of support for All Mountain practitioners who wish to easily gain altitude for then try your hand at long high mountain tours. The Brembo Bike project, in fact, also contemplates the cleaning and adaptation of some old military trails for the MTB. From the 2.070 meters of Montebello, therefore, it will also be possible to leave for “pedaled” tours, thanks to an off-road connection on dirt roads and paths that leads to San Simone and then even further towards Valleve and then down to Branzi.
For lovers of cross countrymoreover, a suggestive training ring about 4 km long has been set up.
