Silvia Persico, after many excellent placements in the World Cup, returns to raise her arms to the sky in the cyclocross after having conquered the cyclocross of the Ponte di Faè di Oderzo and 3 other Italian races in the past few weeks.
Silvia Persico, Italian champion of the specialty, won yesterday in Meilen (Switzerland), in the last round of the Swiss Cyclocross Cup 2022/2023. The 25-year-old dominated the international C2 race beating the strong French sisters Hélene and Perrin Clauzel, second and third respectively with a delay of 1'18” and 1'37” from the blue. In the top-10 also Rebecca Gariboldi, 5^, Eva Lechner, 6^, and Valentina Corvi, 8^.
Of note is the excellent 4th place, in the men's field, by Gioele Bertolini.
