Sun, heat and some residual mud from the previous rainy days accompanied the final of the eagerly awaited first stage of the Gravitalia National Circuit which took place today in Caldirola (AL).
The tried and tested track, made technical by the mixed conditions of the terrain, which alternated stretches of mud with others with dry and hard terrain that finished drying up during the heat, saw many young promises of the Italian DH as protagonists of the absolute agonist ranking.
Simone Medici (Pedroni Cycles Racing) wins the race, sealing a perfect run with the time of 3'14.66, followed just 78 cents by Junior first year Loris Revelli (Argentina Bike). Third place for Mattia Roncaglia (360Degrees), while Carlo Caire (Argentina Bike) closes in fourth position, leaving behind him Mario Milani (Ancillotti Doganaccia), in fifth position.
Alia Marcellini (Lee Cougan Dirty Factory Team) dominates the female agonists, who is almost 7 seconds behind Eleonora Farina (Mangusta Bike Team), making her debut in the agonist category. The third position is by Rosaria Fuccio (Team Il Ciclista Off Road). The winner of the women's amateur absolute is Sara Mologni (Team Scout NukeProof).
The classification of the final of the men's amateurs category saw Fabrizio Dragoni (Alessi Racing Team) triumph, followed almost 4 seconds by the winner of the Gravitalia National Circuit 2013, Lorenzo Frigerio (Team Scout NukeProof), while Luca Fusani (Darra Racing) climbs to third position Team).
