Short Track Nove Mesto: Laura Stigger wins in front of Keller

Specialized Factory on shields. Bad luck for Martina Berta, she crashed in the middle of the race but nothing serious for her.

The World Cup opens with the Short Track Test which immediately shows the hottest engines and writes the starting grid for the XCO race.

Compared to the U23 race, running in good weather, the rain arrived in the Czech Republic today but the route was still fast and not heavy due to the mud.

VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS

The race saw a compact group in the lead with a very perky Evie Richards who then paid off in the last lap, when she didn't have the legs to launch a real sprint.

Vitoria for Laura Stigger in front of Alessandra Keller and Sina Frei. Pauline Ferrand Prevot remained in the top positions and finished in 4th place. 5th place for Evie Richards. Too bad for Martina Berta who finished in 24th place after a crash in the middle of the race.

Before the Italian Greta Seiwald who closes in 16th place. Giada Specia is 32^.
