After a few years of absence from the national race calendars, the Sestriere (TO) track is back on the circuits of the Italian Cup on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August Downhill, thanks to the agreement between the local administration and the Sport Inside company, the association organizing the event.
For the occasion, the iconic slope that descends from the Fraiteve mountain has returned to shine thanks to the maintenance and modernization works carried out in the last period, carried out with the aim of re-proposing
race one of the most exciting circuits for lovers of Downhill.
In a period in which taking refuge at over 2000 meters represents a relief from the hot summer days, those enrolled in the event will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views, an ad hoc welcome
inside the hotels a stone's throw from the paddock and with the support of a staff worthy of the greatest events.
Many activities are scheduled, starting from the week before the race: on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays Dj-set evenings are scheduled to guarantee the memory of a weekend full of fun for all participants. And for the younger riders, there is the opportunity to participate starting from Sunday 1 August in the special Camp held by two exceptional instructors, Andrea Gamenara and Alessandro Levra, protagonists of the first two races of the Italian Cup, who went to scene respectively in Sestola (Modena) in mid-May, and then in Caldirola, in Piedmont, in the last weekend of June.
Hoping to confirm the excellent results obtained so far, Sport Inside can't wait to find out who will be the winners of the Piedmontese race and what will be the new names ready to emerge.
