In Sestri Levante the Italian Enduro Cup begins with Day 1, which took place on only 2 stages with the third stage canceled for safety reasons (a light rain fell in the morning but it stopped once the race started).
The best was Nicola Casadei, truly a lightning bolt on day 1, winning both PS1 and PS2. Behind him Alex Lupato and Vittorio Gambirasio. Just 3 seconds from the podium we find Denny Lupato with Francesco Fregona right behind.
Among the women we speak French with Cecile Ravanel in front of the sisters Austriahce Gehrig, Carolin and Anita. Good weather is expected tomorrow with 3 pissed-off PSs that will make room for any jolts in the overall standings.
