Sam Hill injured shoulder at Crankworx Cairns 2022

Sam Hill posted on social media that he fractured and dislocated his shoulder while training for the DH race in Crankworx Cairns.

A rider sitting in the waiting room with thanks, ready for the race or training, surrounded by sports equipment and a clinical environment.

It was supposed to be one of Sam Hill's first big DH races in quite some time but a crash on the final day of practice stopped him. Too bad because he said he felt fast and when Sam Hill is in the right mindset he always shows.

They had to fall asleep to get my shoulder back in place because it was severely dislocated. Also I have a fracture in the joint, so I have to do more scans / possibly see a surgeon when I'm home, but I'm out again for a while, I guess….- Sam Hill
