ROSE BIKETOWN Munich was nominated for “Stores of the Year Award” of the HDE (German Retail Association) in the “Out of Line” category. The concept store of the bike manufacturer ROSE (www.rosebikes.it) is among the top 3 of over 50 stores. Each year, the HDE association awards the best retail concepts in the four categories "Food", "Fashion", "Living" and "Out of Line".
It is the first time that a bicycle shop is among the candidates. The idea behind the new concept store is the possibility of configuring the bicycle according to the customer's specifications. The shop has 20 tablets with which customers can configure their own custom-built. The bike will exactly reflect all the needs in terms of field of use, ergonomics, budget and preferences of typotechnician. In this way ROSE offers not only the bike setup online, but also a retail shop. Customers can also start configuring their custom-built cars from the comfort of their own home and then complete the purchase with the help of professional advice from the BIKETOWN.
The Munich concept store (link) is the second retail store of the ROSE company, the first is located in Bocholt. With the appointment of the ROSE BIKETOWN Munich, which opened only last October, it is the first time in the competition's history that a retail bike shop has entered the top three. The awarding of the award is assessed on the creativity of the stores in Germany, their pursuit of innovation, the presentation of the product, the benefits provided to the customer, their potential added value as well as their unique selling proposition.
