If with the dual-suspension Ares 1.2 RDR it has clearly left its mark on the race scene, aimed at an extremely modern MTB, where fun and performance are not compromised, with Deus 3.0 the aim is to propose a true twin of the Ares 1.2, dedicated to those looking for the same performance but who love a simpler line, to those who keep an eye on the scales, to those who don't have much time to dedicate to maintenance, which is more demanding with full suspension, and obviously, to those who need or love total customization, which can only be achieved with a custom-wrapped frame.

The rear triangle and seat post are made from a single monocoque block where a skilfully crossed lamination of the fibres provides the flexibility needed to absorb vibrations and roughness of the terrain almost on par with a full suspension but, compared to the previous Deus 2.0 version, setting a sort of ideal “end of travel”.
While the monocoque construction completely eliminates any lateral flex and guarantees an even higher uphill reactivity than a hardtail, the head tube, top tube and down tube are instead wrapped following the standard RDR geometries or customizing angles and lengths at the user's request to create a truly "tailor-made" suit that is extremely comfortable.

RDR Deus 3.0 is a downcountry softail, designed for a 120mm front suspension travel and with ultra-modern geometry that faithfully follows that of the dual-suspension twin Ares 1.2, with a 67,2° head angle and a 76° seat tube angle. The center of gravity remains, as for Deus 2.0, very low, guaranteeing the wheel maximum grip and impressive stability.
The oversized 1-1,2” steering, with fully integrated cable routing, ensures greater precision and riding safety and at the same time a very clean and attractive aesthetic line that finds its maximum expression when combined with the RDR Fibra Race F1 handlebar.
As for the Ares 1.2, the Deus 3.0 frame also chose the T47 standard for the bottom bracket shell to avoid any power dispersion and ensure maximum rigidity during pedaling.
The flat mount rear brake caliper contributes to the increase in rear rigidity by reducing lever blur and disc friction. Finally, the universal UDH dropout ensures the possibility of mounting the most advanced types of transmissions on the market.
There’s no point in hiding it, weight is an important component for every cyclist and has always been a must in the RDR philosophy.
During the study and testing process for the creation of Deus 3.0, the maximum limit of lightness was sought with the aim of creating a frame that could settle on 1kg of weight.
Along the way, RDR realized that weight also had a fundamental importance in the performance of the bicycle: they did not want to create a rigid HARDTAIL frame, anachronistic with respect to the concept of a modern mountain bike, but rather a SOFTAIL without the mini-shock absorber integrated into the frame used by many competitors, but which worked in the same way and with the same concept only thanks to the section of the tubes, the geometry and the processing of the fibres.
A frame that was too light would not have been able to guarantee the characteristics we wanted, the reactivity when climbing but also the elasticity, the absorption of bumps both in the seated position and standing on the pedals, and the rideability when descending, ensuring the biker, on any terrain, a feeling of comfort but also of total control of the bike.
The frame is positioned among the lightest in its Softail category with a weight of approximately 1200g in size M. Deus 3.0 is not just any front end but a fast and precise softail in terms of handling. cross country, fun and comfortable on the trail!
