Finally in presence, one might say, and after two years in a version adapted to the needs of the moment, Prowinter is back in its most authentic trade fair guise. The appointment for mountain sports rental professionals and for all sports equipment dealers is scheduled from tomorrow Wednesday 11 to Thursday 12 January, at Fiera Bolzano.
The first appointment of the day will be held at 11.00 in the Prowinter Award Retail space (hall D26), and will be dedicated to the inauguration of the event in front of the institutions and the main protagonists of the sector. The ceremony will also be an opportunity to award the winners of the first edition of the Prowinter Award "Retail", the exclusive competition involving exhibitors at the fair. Among the more than 20 companies that submitted their products in the ski and ski boot categories, three finalists were selected for each category.
The nominations of the brands related to ski equipment are Blizzard, Kastle and Rossignol, and the companies in the running for the award in the boots category are K2, Lange and Salomon.
On the occasion of tomorrow's appointment, the winners of both categories will be revealed, decreed by the jury presided over by Elio Bottero, a leading voice in the retail sector, flanked by the former alpine skier Verena Stuffer, by Alessandro Monti, entrepreneur of large-scale sports distribution , by Manuel Bottazzo, a designer specialized in sports industrial design and by Giovanni Audiffredi, a journalist with great expertise in the field of fashion, sport and style and a great ski enthusiast.
But Prowinter won't just be skis and equipment related to the world of snow. In the wake of the initiatives launched in previous editions in which attention was also paid to the rental of the bicycle sector, there will be exhibitors close to the world of two-wheeled pedals. Among these Cambiobike, Fantic Rent, among the historical presence of the bike in Prowinter, Thok, in their second appearance in the corridors of Fiera Bolzano, Haibike/Lapierre/Winora, for the first time in Prowinter, but already inserted in the fabric given their participation in Prowinter Digital 2021 as speakers and Monferrato Bike/Deambrosis Group, making its debut at the fair.
Prowinter 2023, in its most trade-fair guise, confirms itself as an essential appointment for businesses linked to outdoor sports, a sector in constant expansion, as also demonstrated by the data collected by Prowinter Lab, whose surveys have always involved the special observation of the sector, the renters, who will once again be great protagonists among the stands of Fiera Bolzano.
