Well, I didn't expect my first E-bike race to end like this 🙈 DNF and I was flown by helicopter.
I'm fine now, well almost. I share it because it can happen to any of us running or racing in Enduro! I went a little too far in a corner and my front wheel lifted a sharp branch. The branch completely pierced my shoes (top) and foot.
I have to say that I was very unfortunate and that it could have happened anywhere and with any MTB shoe. I was in very good hands with Valberg's security team and thank you very much for the help.
Last night I was operated on to remove it and get rid of the unicorn foot. It went well and apparently I have no broken bones and tendons which is a miracle!
