Privateer Bikes welcomes Fergus Ryan

Fergus Ryan signs for 2022 and 2023 with Privateer Bikes

The English company announces that between 2021 and 2022 the young Fergus will race for Privateer in the EWS and will help them in the development of the new models.

Last season as a privatist in the EWS

Up to this year, the young Englishman has competed as a privatist in national races, in EWS and at some CrankWorx events. Now with the new partner he will also have the possibility to choose any component for the race vehicle.

"I am delighted to be competing for Hunt / Privateer for the next two years. I have always admired the style of these bikes and the company's approach to specific racing products. In a month of driving the 161 I fell in love, I can't wait to be in the webbing!"

Matt Simmonds' privateer.

"We are happy to announce that Fergus Ryan will race for us in 2022 and 2023.

Fergus has been competing as a “privatist” for many years, he has what it takes for Privateer Bikes to develop and take our bikes to another level. With the luxury of being able to choose entirely the components of his new partner; look forward to seeing how he will equip himself for the new season!"

We'll see if in contact with fellow countrymen and with a totally customized vehicle, Fergus will show us what he's made of.
