Focus Italia Group, a major player in the global cycling market, has officially become a 100% subsidiary of Pon.Bike Company, reaching the culmination of a transformation process that began in January 2020.

The initial phase saw the transformation of Focus Italia Group into a joint-stock company, followed by a substantial capital increase; the positive trajectory of this evolution pushed Pon Holdings, through its Pon.Bike branch, to invest by acquiring an initial part of the shares of Focus Italia SpA, consolidating the integration of the Italian distributor into the Pon.Bike team.
As of November 2023, this path has reached its peak, with the transition of Focus Italia Group from a partner company to a fully integrated entity within Pon.Bike Company and at the same time, the Italian company renamed itself Pon. Bike Italia, reflecting its complete alignment with the Dutch multinational.
Founding partners Giorgio Garofoli and Luca Sivero will retain control and decision-making powers, assuming the roles of CEO and Administrator respectively in order to ensure a smooth transition and the continued success of Pon.Bike Italia in the Italian market. Marco Kind, MD of Cannondale and Senior Vice President of Pon.Bike, will serve as President of the Board of Directors of Pon.Bike Italia.
