Installation takes place in a few minutes without opening the engine or removing the original seals and is totally invisible as its housing uses the internal space of the engine cover. It is totally reversible and you can return to the original configuration in a few minutes. Without battery as it is self-powered.
CAUTION BUT: once this modification has been made, all the regulatory obligations deriving from it must be foreseen (more info here) with loss of warranty.
UNLOCK YOUR E-BIKE EASILY
For BOSCH Smart System, by default it has unlocking always active and the correct speed is indicated by the last 2 digits on the display, for example 12.5 corresponds to 25 km/h.
For Brose and Specialized, they are activated via the WALK button and show the correct speed.
For Specialized with Mahle engine, the speedometer will always show half your actual speed, the same thing for km. To know the exact speed and km, just double it.
Extra Notes:
The HI-Speed for the Bosch Smart system makes the bike more responsive thanks to a different sensor reading by slightly shifting the engine power delivery curve.
The HI-Speed for Specialized and for Brose does not require removing the engine from the bike as it connects directly to the display.
ALERT
In the case of firmware updates, before proceeding, we recommend disconnecting the HI-Speed device from the e-bike. Updating the firmware could compromise the correct functioning of the Hi-Speed and the e-bike itself. After the update, test the e-bike and then proceed with the Hi-Speed installation again.
