Plan de Corones becomes the official bike park of the Cube Action Team.

Plan de Corones strengthens its position in the international enduro scene by becoming the official technical partner of the Cube Action Team. The collaboration with the German brand complements investments in the trails and bike park infrastructure, with important new features for the 2026 season including the Furcia Trail, Crazy Bunny Line, and Gassl Trail.

Partnerships between brands and tourist destinations are increasingly common in the world of mountain biking. However, not all of them are born with a clear vision and a shared strategy. As we've repeatedly discussed in articles on biking destinations, when a collaboration is built around a concrete project, it can become a real added value, capable of strengthening the destination's identity and communicating a clear message to bikers about what the destination aspires to be and the audience it hopes to attract.

The new partnership between Plan de Corones and Cube goes exactly in this direction. It's not simply a sponsorship, but a choice that expresses a clear vision for the development of the South Tyrolean bike park and its positioning in the European gravity and enduro scene.

Plan de Corones technical partner of the Cube Action Team

For the 2026 season, the Plan de Corones Bike Park is taking another step forward in its collaboration with Cube. After two years as a sponsor of the South Tyrolean resort, the German brand is strengthening its commitment and launching a new partnership, making Plan de Corones the official technical partner of the Cube Action Team, the factory team competing in major international enduro competitions.

This agreement confirms the sporting and technical value of the Pusteria Valley trails, which have been used for years by the team's athletes as a preferred training ground.

Why the Cube Action Team chose Plan de Corones

The official Cube team has identified Plan de Corones as the only bike park with which to develop a structured partnership. This choice has matured over time thanks to the athletes' firsthand experience on the area's trails.

Riders can rely on a particularly comprehensive trail network: from the natural and challenging lines of the north face to the more flowy trails of Olang, passing through the famous bends of the Furcia Trail and the spectacular Crazy Bunny Line. This mix allows riders to work on different techniques and prepare for the diverse situations encountered in enduro races.

Throughout the season the Cube Action Team will be present at Plan de Corones with dedicated activities, training sessions riding and exclusive content that will tell the story of the bike park through the eyes of professional athletes.

Renewed trails and investments for the future

The 2026 season opens with important innovations that demonstrate the desire to continue investing in the quality of the offering.

On the San Vigilio di Marebbe side, work is underway on the new ski lift, a strategic investment that will help make the area even more modern and accessible in the coming years.

In the meantime, the Furcia Trail remains completely passable thanks to a 1,7-kilometer detour connecting the P5 refuge to the Olang 1+2 intermediate station.

Significant changes have also been made to the Crazy Bunny Line, which has undergone a complete reshape to improve its fluidity, rhythm and fun.

There are also important news on the Gassl Trail, one of the most popular routes in the area, completely renovated with new jumps, technical facilities and a new Dirt Jump area near the valley station of the Gassl 1+2 gondola lift.

All trails open from June 20th

All of these interventions confirm the strategy pursued by Plan de Corones in recent years: constantly investing in improving trails and infrastructure to offer an increasingly complete experience to riders, families, and enthusiasts.

The official opening of all trails is scheduled for June 20th, with optimal conditions on both sides of the area.

Test Days and Kronplatz King Marathon

Among the most anticipated events of the season are the Test Days on July 11 and 12, organized in conjunction with the Kronplatz King Marathon, the historic MTB endurance race featuring a 64-kilometer course and 3.150 meters of elevation gain.

For the occasion, over 50 Cube bikes will be available to test for free on the bike park trails, along with numerous community activities.

An event that further strengthens the bond between the German brand and the South Tyrolean destination, offering riders the chance to test the brand's latest models in the field.

A partnership that tells a vision

Beyond the technical and sporting aspects, this collaboration represents an important signal for the sector. Plan de Corones is not just developing new trails or improving existing ones, but is also building a clear and recognizable identity.

The choice to join a factory team like the Cube Action Team communicates a precise direction: to be a reference destination for the riding gravity and enduro, capable of attracting advanced enthusiasts but at the same time offering a complete and accessible experience.

A partnership born from a shared vision and that helps further strengthen Plan de Corones' position among the most dynamic and interesting mountain biking destinations in the Alps.
