The hardtail version of Pinarello's newest mountain bike, the DOGMA XC, had a dream debut at the UCI Cycling World Championships over the weekend with Pauline Ferrand-Prévot riding it to victory twice in Scotland (XCO and XCC), while Tom Pidcock conquered the XCO race with the full suspension model.

2023 MTB WORLD REPORTS

The DOGMA XC, in both hardtail and full suspension versions, is a prototype cross-county bike that Pidcock and Ferrand-Prévot are testing throughout the 2023 season as part of Pinarello's renewed focus on MTB.
Ferrand-Prévot – who competed for the first time on the hardtail – he triumphed both in the Short Track and since Cross-country Olympic, while Pidcock rode the hardtail to third place in the Short Track before finishing a dominant victory over the Full model in the Olympic race.

Pinarello started developing the DOGMA XC in autumn 2022 and experienced an intense period of testing with Ferrand-Prévot, Pidcock and the technical team of INEOS Grenadiers.
Watching Tom and Pauline earn their rainbow jerseys was a feast for the eyes and we are proud to have developed a hardtail version alongside the full suspension model that allows both riders to excel on any XC terrain. From the beginning, I have always believed in the success of this project, but the development process doesn't stop there, further testing will take place throughout 2023 with both riders continuing to be heavily involved in the development of the DOGMA XC before it is commercially available in March 2024 – Fausto Pinarello
