Martin Maes and Vid Persak will focus on the UCI Enduro World Cup (EDR) events, the mechanical category of this new season. Flo Espiñeira and Edgar Carballo aim to dominate the ebike category of the UCI E-Enduro World Cup (E-EDR). The two ebikers will also participate in extra-European EDR races. In 2022, both Edgar and Flo scored wins in E-EDR World Series events and Martin added three consecutive podium finishes in his first year with the team. The Orbea Fox Enduro Team calendar will start in Maydena (Tasmania, Australia) on 25 and 26 March.
The team will compete on two Orbea bikes that have become world leaders in their respective categories. The team's new Orbea Rallon will make its debut with customizations made on the MyO platform, with colors and aesthetics that reinforce the team's identity. The E-EDR races feature further modifications, where athletes will compete aboard the new Orbea Wild, revised for 2023 and debuting with a lighter frame and improved suspension geometry and kinematics.
This year, the team will have its own website which will serve as a communication hub. Riders, bikes, calendar…in it you will find all the information to keep you updated on the team's news, including the clothes they will wear both for racing and for free time. To kick off 2023, the team will be raffling off a prize that includes the team's Race Face apparel, Race Face protective gear and a Bluegrass enduro helmet.
