Performance and technology: the new high-end electric mountain bike with a carbon frame and advanced suspension.

In the full suspension Hammer and Karbo Edge, both with carbon frame, the technological heart is represented by the 90 Nm Oli Edge engine combined with the 900 Wh Powernine 900 battery, a high-potential equipment to which instant and precise shifting is now added 12-speed GX Eagle AXS shifter without cables.

The two top e-MTBs from Olympia therefore take a further step forward in the direction of quality and practicality of use, providing a wireless shifter that responds instantly and precisely to the command. In the case of Hammer, the new equipment is accompanied by a brand new iridescent colour. Hammer and Karbo Edge with wireless electronic shifting are offered to the public at €7.993,00 and €7.153,00 respectively, prices inclusive of VAT.

Hammer is a synthesis of high performance and ease of riding, with 170mm front and rear travel. The T800 monocoque carbon frame is made with double-moulded EPS technology, which uniforms the internal surfaces, making the structure particularly rigid and light. With a view to customizing the set-up, the geometry of the Hammer frame varies according to the height of the user. By changing the inclination of the seat tube according to the size, the best weight balance is always guaranteed. One of the salient features of this e-mtb is the lowering of both the standover and the center of gravity: the bike is more stable and easier to maneuver when changing direction and on steep terrain.

The new Karbo Edge is the result of a substantial review of the geometry and technological features of this model. The frame with the T800 carbon monocoque front triangle, built with EPS, has been designed to meet the specifics of a pedal assisted bike suitable for all-mountain character. The geometries have been optimized according to the various sizes. The 160mm rear suspension with trunnion shock absorber (stroke 205x65mm) fits into the top tube, becoming an element of continuity between the chain stays and the upper tube. The placement of the fulcrum points determines a kinematics with a compression curve with greater progressiveness. Furthermore, the new Karbo Edge has become more rigid and precise thanks to the doubling of the bearings both in the Horst joint and in the fulcrum of the main pivot of the rear.
