It's up to Oasi Zegna to host the second stage of the 4 enduro circuit. A classic of the circuit that has experienced difficult moments this year. The particularly adverse weather conditions made the task complicated for Zampieri and friends, who found themselves at a crossroads, knowing that any direction they took would disappoint someone.

The Oasi track is a high-profile technical mix, with passages between roots and rocks; with important slopes that have made it over the years a place to hone driving skills. It is a place where I like to come running; the technical difficulties are an incentive to drive better, trying to find a rhythm where it would seem apparently impossible to do so. Perhaps also for this reason the first podium of the season has arrived. But it is not about my performance in the 'one-step spit' category that we need to talk about, even if a podium with Davide Sottocornola and Bruno Zanchi is very respectable, but rather about the race day, which was demanding from many points of view .

The complexity of the tracks was the reason for the many reflections that led the organizers to upset the competitive program. Whatever choice they made, they would certainly have dissatisfied a part of the riders, which is why I think it is my duty to thank them for the work they have done anyway.

Reached on Monday after the competition they were the first to regret what had happened, in their hearts they would have preferred to take a more competitive direction, respecting the degree of 'national competition' that this event had; but by doing so they would have jeopardized the physical integrity of many riders, who were not structured to compete for this event.

This element will deserve an article in which to reflect on how it allows enduro to mature, thus becoming a more professional discipline, like the others in this environment. But for now we have to talk about the present, which tells us that the race was held on the repetition of the same special, that Caulera that the organizers considered was the most affordable for everyone.
THE RACE
As written in the title, the victory went to Matteo Berta, who was able to best interpret a very treacherous path, also giving an important gap to his pursuers. Thanks to this victory, Matteo was able to celebrate his birthday in the best possible way with the rest of the team led by Cico. In second place Alex Lupato and in third the current Italian champion Mirco Vendemmia. A crash a few corners from the end put Matteo Raimondi out of the game, and he had to finish the race with the handlebars turned upside down.

In the women's field, an excellent result by Gloria Scarsi, able to get behind the Ghering twins, who have always been fond of the town of Biella.

Now the 4enduro caravan will move to Pogno, another historic locality of the national enduro, where the owl staff is already at work to prepare an event worthy of the coat of arms of the locality.
