Inspired by the world of eyewear, the DRT5 helmet features the innovative Eyewear Landing Zone, an area in which to place the glasses during climbs, descents and breaks between rides. The Eyewear Landing Zone uses special hooks integrated into the rear ventilation openings, which can be opened and closed while pedaling. When open, the hooks accommodate the temples of the glasses holding them firmly in place; once closed, they are flush with the outer surface of the helmet. To store your glasses while climbing or taking breaks, just leave the hooks open for better access. During the descents, however, the hooks must remain closed, in order to block the temples and keep the glasses still even in the most turbulent sections. In addition to offering maximum safety, the Eyewear Landing Zone lets fresh air filter on the face, for an invigorating effect that helps to reach the finish line.
The helmet also features a washable silicone gel sweat guard, which helps to collect and wipe sweat away from the forehead avoiding annoying trickles on the glasses.
The BOA® FS1-1 system, with its 360 ° adjustment function, ensures a perfect fit on any occasion. Developed to reduce interference with the glasses and pressure on the temples, the TX1 Lace fastening system remains flat on the head, allowing you to wear the glasses with the utmost naturalness.
