As many of you know, from 2023 the World Cup will no longer be covered by Red Bull TV. Now MTB becomes "for a fee" and to see the various races you will have to subscribe to online platforms. The platforms used to broadcast the MTB races will be GCN+, Eurosport and Discovery+.
Important information: the U23 XCO, Juniores DH and Semifinals ELITE races will instead be visible for free. The information about DOWNHILL are only for information given that Nove Mesto will not be present on Downhill but it will start to Lenzerheide early June.

CROSS COUNTRY
XCO is one of the historical formats of mountain bike racing and in 1996 it became an Olympic sport (see the history of Cross Country). A mix of technique and endurance that brings out the best athletes.
In Nove Mesto, this week, there will be the opening trials of the CROSS COUNTRY and the MARATHON, the latter discipline being a novelty as it officially returns to the World Cup after the brief parenthesis that the UCI had opened from 2005 to 2008 (see the historical roll of honor here).
However, this discipline (Marathon) will not be followed in Live but Highlights will be broadcast on the UCI Mountain Bike World Series YouTube channel, along with in-depth and behind-the-scenes content.
U23 ATHLETES WITH DEROGATION
There are some athletes who, despite their young age (U23), have decided to participate in the World Cup as an Elite. In fact, the UCI allows this decision. Here are the athletes in detail.

Number 1 favorite Tom Pidcock, that last week he literally went off the wheel all its main rivals, starting with Mathias Fluckiger and Nino Schurter. Same goes for Evie Richards, who seems to have sorted out last year's back problems: the British athlete she easily beat an athlete like Pauline Ferrand Prevot, demonstrating excellent condition.
Italian hopes for Martina Berta, who fielded an excellent condition in recent weeks, and Luca Braidot, winner of the last stage of the Internazionali d'Italia in front of excellent athletes.
