A new stop is necessary for Peter Sagan after the operation he underwent last month following abnormal heartbeats during an international XCO race (his heart jumped to over 200). The Slovakian champion should have taken part in the test cross country of the French Cup in Marseille this week but withdrew from the match.
Hi everyone, while I was training on the rocky courses in Marseille, my heart skipped a few beats. Nothing to worry about, but let's just say my heart needs a pit stop. Next week I will undergo an operation and, thanks to my sports cardiologist friend Dr. Roberto Crosetti, I'm sure I'll be back on the bike very soon. Stay tuned, I will update you soon –Peter Sagan
We hope to see Sagan again at the Top without worries.
