Last weekend be it Nino Schurter that Mathias Fluckiger have switched to thin wheels. This is nothing new, they both train on the road to hone the condition. They competed in the GP Mobiliar held in Bern (Switzerland) last week. A test held on a 5,4 km circuit with 97 cyclists on the starting line. It was an open test also open to amateurs. Let us remember that it is Nino Schurter that Mathis Fluckiger were approached by pro road teams: Nino in 2014 when he had made a bout of internship with Orica-GreenEdge, conquering an 8th place in stage 2 and a 9th place in stage 5 of the Giro si Svizzera. Fluckiger, on the other hand, last year always participated in the tour of Switzerland.

Nino Schurter finished in 19th place while Fluckiger in 27th place. Biker Scott-SRAM competed in the colors of the Swiss national team, while Fluckiger did so as his MTB team, Thömus.

[email protected] I am a fan of everything that has 2 wheels: at a young age I practiced road and track cycling (Italian Allievi champion). At the age of 18 I passed into the cross country competing at national/international level as an Under23. Past Elite, I made the choice to take things more lightly from a training point of view, and my love for gravity disciplines was born, training me as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made passion my profession by managing 2 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Bike Center Elba and Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
