Halfway through the short VolCAT stage race, the kilometers are felt. Fatigue weighs down the legs and the best bikers in the race failed to create significant differences between them in the queen stage of the race. The Buff-Megamo continues to dominate the overall male and female categories.

Queen stage of 60km and 1350m+. The leader, Becking (Buff Megamo Team), controlled the race by leading most of the sections. In the middle of the stage, the chances of victory were reduced to a small group of 7 cyclists: Becking, Mensi (Soudal Lee Cougan), Chiarini (Cicli Taddei Specialized), Sifredi (Scott Racing Team), Samparisi (KTM Alchemist Brenta Bikes), Miltiadis (DMT Racing Team) and Rauchfuss (CESKA Sporitelna Accolade).

There were several attacks, in which the Italian Mensi tried several times to draw. Victory was decided in the sprint with the Italian Samparisi taking the win. Miltiadis and Chiarini took the other places on the podium.
