Beautiful fight yesterday between Christopher Blevins, outgoing world champion, and Sam Gaze in the new discipline of Short Track (here the report of the race). In the end, Sam Gaze got the better of him wearing the world champion jersey while Blevins crashed to finish in 16th place. But here's what the 2 champions wrote yesterday on social networks.

The BMX guy in me knew he had to look for victory at the last corner, even if that meant risking the race. On the grass before the rocks I gave everything, if only I had been a tire further up the rocks, I think I would have been able to pass. But this is the roll of the dice we sometimes call running. Thanks Samuel Gaze for this last lap battle to remember and congratulations on the win, you deserve this champion!
