In fact, the new Supercaliber was born from a tradition of incredible victories and looks to the future with more travel both front and rear, a geometry cross country modernized and two different carbon versions for those looking for the lightest possible racing bike.

The second generation Supercaliber has been completely redesigned to offer more performance without sacrificing speed. At the front, the suspension has been increased to 110mm, while the new rear IsoStrut is increased to 80mm. The new geometry of the bicycle guarantees the right attitude uphill, while increasing control over the roughest terrains that abound on modern trails cross country.
Riders will also have the option to choose between two different types of carbon: Supercaliber SL is the lightweight option for fun, while Supercaliber SLR cuts weight even further for World Cup-worthy speeds. The SLR model is lighter by eliminating internal cable routing routings and opting for a higher modulus carbon layup that matches the stiffness of Supercaliber SL by reducing material used.
The new Supercaliber features Trek's updated IsoStrut paired with RockShox SIDLuxe. The new IsoStrut offers the same hardtail efficiency and damping suspension as its predecessor, yet setup is now easier than ever thanks to laser-etched sag indicators and a numbered rebound adjuster dial.
Spectators of the competitions of cross country will be able to attend the official debut of the new Supercaliber by the Trek Factory Racing XC team at the World Championships in Les Gets, France, during the weekend of August 12th.
