New ORBEA OIZ 2023: 120mm Trail proposal

The Orbea Oiz is a bike suitable for XC or marathon: despite the 120mm of travel, which may seem abundant for a purist, it combines racing geometries that make it the best choice of the Team Factory athletes. The weight remains very low and, compared to the last version (proposed in 100mm), it has not increased.

WOOD FRAME

The weight of frame + ammo is only 1750gr (in the top assembly with OMX carbon frame and Fox Float Kashima shock absorber). The frame is offered in 3 versions: OMX carbon, OMR carbon and aluminum.

The final weight of the frame is practically identical to the previous OMX 100mm model. The frame of the new Orbea Oiz OMX weighs 1.750 grams. The OMR carbon frame is exactly the same but weighs 200 grams more, stabilizing at 1.950 grams - still a very good figure.

GEOMETRY

All the assemblies of the Oiz will offer 120mm travel, with a very vertical column (76,5 °) and a more open steering angle (67 °). Another change is the longer reach.

Here is a comparison between the Oiz model with 100mm of travel, which we believe to be the best seller and the one that was the basis of the previous version, and this new Orbea Oiz with 120mm of travel.

MODELS

The Orbea Oiz 2023 will be offered in 11 models: 4 with OMX frame (top of the range), 4 with OMR frame (lower-end carbon) and 3 in Hydro aluminum. On the site at the moment you will not find all the models listed below because some will be available soon (by the end of the year).
