Internal 350Wh battery, with 171Wh range extender (optional). The top of the line DUSTY XR is equipped with the RockShox Rudy fork with 40mm of travel, together with the Reverb XPLR AXS dropper post with 75mm of travel. The DUSTY frame is made up of a mixture of carbon fibers (STEALTH AIR CARBON). The DUSTY passes the same ISO tests that Mondraker subjects its mountain bikes to.
DUSTY RANGE WITH 3 MODELS
Main points of the frame
Bottom anchor
The design of the chainstays offers unrivaled driving comfort. Its large absorption capacity is very high on uneven surfaces and not only reduces fatigue but also provides greater rear control in combination with the short chainstays (425mm) which form a very compact and agile rear triangle.
Integrated seatpost lock
Minimalism, functionality and design, to integrate the seatpost closure into the design of the frame.
2x drivetrain compatible frame
Since not everyone uses 1X drivetrains, the DUSTY range is fully compatible with double crankset drivetrains.
Integrated protector
Protection made of customized rubber, to keep the DUSTY free from scratches.
Wiring integrated in the stem
The DUSTY's ONOFF handlebar and stem guide the entire wiring internally and completely hidden. No covers or cables that annoy us when we grip the handlebars, or that affect the spectacular minimalist design of the DUSTY.
Dusty carbon fork
Our carbon fork is as versatile in use as DUSTY itself. We guide the wiring inside so it doesn't interfere with the multiple anchors for drums, bags or stands. We've included the standard Post Mount in the brake caliper, maximize stiffness with the 12mm thru-axle, and can fit tires up to 47mm wide.
FULL SYSTEM INTEGRATION MAHLE X20
The Mahle system with the X20 motor and the integrated 350Wh battery weighs only 3,6kg (with the integrated 350Wh battery) and with its 55Nm of torque it assists your pedaling in a totally natural way without friction and with total fluidity at the beginning and at the end of the assistance. The Mahle X20 motor integrated into the rear hub is not only the most advanced in its class, but also the lightest.
A system that we have chosen at Mondraker not only for its total integration into the design of the DUSTY, but also because it meets other fundamental requirements for us, such as lightness and the power-to-weight ratio.
Highlights of the Mahle X20 system
Integrated iX350 350Wh battery
Battery integrated into the frame to offer you more than 180km of range and 2.400m of elevation gain.
Mahle X20 engine
Mahle X20 motor integrated in the rear hub with 55Nm of par. Maximum pedaling naturalness, WATSS ON DEMAND concept, with its 3 system levels.
Mahle bottom bracket
Pressfit 386 EVO bottom bracket with integrated potentiometer and cadence sensor.
Main unit
Integrated into the top tube, it knows the status of the battery or the level of assistance through the light signals of the main unit. With Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity.
Pulsar ONE Wireless display
Know your ride data, battery status or support level at a glance. Fully integrated and detachable.
e185 X20 range extender (optional)

'WATTS ON DEMAND' ASSISTANCE FROM MONDRAKER
DUSTY has 3 levels of assistance that can be completely configured by the user via the SmartBike application. We have collaborated with Mahle in developing a specific firmware to define the assistance characteristics of the engine in use. As a starting point, the goal we set ourselves was to simulate the effort made by the cyclist at all times, without the assistance of the motor overcoming the natural pedaling sensation. Concept we call WATTS ON DEMAND.
We follow these three principles as a basis:
- Non-intrusive system.
- Enough support to satisfy gravel use.
- “Unlimited” rank.
Each level has 3 completely user-configurable aspects: Peak Power: the maximum power that the system gives you at any moment. Responsiveness: System responsiveness when media starts.
Acceleration: How quickly the system gets to deliver the "peak power" (maximum assistance).
In this way, level 1 has a continuous power contribution of 25%, level 2 goes up to 50% and level 3 up to 200% extra (variable between 75 and 200% depending on the rider's torque) . Unlike other systems, the assistance of the Mahle X20 is based on the torque (application of force) produced by the rider, proportional to the effort exerted by the rider as if it were a power amplifier. The sensor that controls the power (torque) applied by the rider is located on the bottom bracket.
