Carosello 3000 inaugurates unique and innovative trails that lead to a new way of experiencing mountain biking and the mountains in summer.
The new “Flow” frontier of mountain biking is about to arrive in Livigno. During the summer at Carosello 3000 a new network of mountain bike trails will be inaugurated that are unique in Italy as they are designed in a smooth way thanks to a continuous sequence of curves, small bumps and rhythmic leaps.
The main feature? The flow-trails can be traveled by everyone according to their speed of descent and their level of ability. A new style of track based on speed and pace that guarantees beginners the desired safety, and experienced riders a feeling similar to a roller coaster.
The Mountain Park Carosello 3000 will be open from Saturday 11 July to Sunday 13 September and will provide two gondola lifts for transport to high altitudes. By the opening date, 10 kilometers of new paths will already be accessible, divided into two consequential routes. The “Coast to Coast”, 6 km of curves and leaps in front of the spectacular scenery of Lake Livigno, and the “Roller Coaster”, 4 kilometers of pure freedom in style flow. The works will continue during the summer with the construction of 2 new trails that will be made accessible as soon as they are completed.
The trails were designed in collaboration with Hans "No Way" Ray, for years testimonial of Livigno and inventor of Flow-style routes, and with the supervision and valuable advice of Diddie Schneider, known throughout the world as the "architect" of the dedicated trail to mountain biking. The new routes will also be submitted to the IMBA (International Mountain Bicycling Association) for the official achievement of the "Flow Trails" certification, obtained which Livigno could pass from Silver Level to Gold Level in the quality index ranking of the services offered for the mountain biking.
All information on the new flow trails can be found directly on the carosello3000.com website where, by subscribing to the Trail Alert service, you can receive an email notification on the inauguration date, features and on-board videos every time a trail is finished. Also from the site it is possible to buy a 3-day trial online (with non-consecutive days) at a super advantageous price.
Finally, the new network of paths has also been designed in order to connect existing natural paths but so far little used by bikers due to the lack of connections. An example of this is the “Hairy Cow” trail, a 4 km all-mountain route that will allow you to connect the cable cars and further expand the offer from the opening date.
