New Cannondale Moterra Neo 5 and 5+ plus

Cannondale Moterra 5

The Cannondale Moterra range expands with the Neo 5 and Neo 5 Plus models. The geometric and technical characteristics remain the same but the Moterra Neo 5 models will have an aluminum frame, therefore a less valuable material to slightly reduce the cost.

The Cannondale Moterra Neo 5 and Neo 5 Plus frame is not in carbon, but in SmartForm C2 aluminum, with rear travel of 150 mm and suspension layout with Horst joint and provision for a 140 mm front fork.

The wheels are 29 ", while the recommended section for the tires is 2.3".
The Cannondale Moterra Neo 5 and Neo 5 Plus are equipped with Shimano Steps systems instead of the Bosch ones, respectively the Steps E7000 with a maximum torque of 60 Nm for the Neo 5 and the Steps E8000 with a maximum torque of 70 Nm for the Neo 5 Plus.

The battery, in both cases is 504 Wh, integrated in the down tube.

The set-ups include 10-speed Shimano Deore groups, with SR Suntour (fork) and X-Fusion (shock absorber) suspensions, therefore cheaper but still functional.

My passion for 2 wheels was born watching my father wheelie with his creeper when I was little. It was a constant challenge to those who walked several meters without hands or with the wheel up. I live 200 m from a bmx track and I attended it every time the BMX-VERONA team did not train then at 16 I decided to buy my first bmx and sign up. Today I am still part of the team but as a 1st level coach. BMX has given me so much for the thing I like most ... riding in the bike park! My secret dream is to put the wheels in the most famous American bike parks.
