The new BH GravelX R inherits the lines of the current GravelX, the model with which BH entered the world of high-performance gravel bikes.

While comfort prevails in the GravelX, thanks to the use of the SRS (Smooth Riding System), in the GravelX R everything revolves around performance. The SRS system is dispensed with to obtain a lighter frame and a rear part that guarantees maximum rigidity. The GravelX with SRS system will be renamed GravelX AT (All Terrain).
All the BH technology to shine in gravel competitions
The BH GravelX R uses all of BH's technological expertise in the construction of carbon frames. The HCIM process is used in manufacturing, which eliminates any imperfections in the frame, both internal and external, using as little material as possible to obtain a featherweight. Furthermore, EVO Carbon Layup, the most advanced carbon laminate, is used to achieve an optimal ratio between weight and stiffness.
The frame design maintains the DNA of the road range bicycles, with aggressive lines and aerodynamic tube shapes. The seatstays and the curvature of the chainstays offer a filter point for ground vibrations, making the ride smoother. The fork was designed according to the concept called Air Bow which, in addition to being a key element in the aesthetic appearance of BH bikes, is also a key element in filtering vibrations and improving aerodynamic performance.
On a technical level, the BH GravelX R opts for the 386mm wide BB86,5 EVO bottom bracket, another element that increases rigidity in a key point when seeking maximum performance. The BH GravelX R frame allows the use of tires up to 45 mm wide.
Maximum integration as a hallmark of BH Bikes
Integration has been the underlying theme of all BH innovations in recent years and the new BH GravelX R continues along the same lines. The ICR internal wiring system, guiding the cables inside the frame, offers a clean look and improves aerodynamics.
Both the frame and the fork have ends that completely hide the fixing points of the hubs, which integrate the opening levers into the body of the axle itself.
The same goes for the seat post clamping area, completely integrated into the frame and equipped with the proprietary system that allows the seat post to be secured with a torque of just 5 Nm.
However, the main element of integration in the BH GravelX R is its Toolbox, an internal frame compartment located at the bottom of the down tube and easily accessible. Inside you can carry an inner tube and a CO2 canister.
The already well-known Planck rear light, with a simple magnetic fixing system, and the aerodynamic bottle cage and bottle set that integrate with the shapes of the frame, complete the list of accessories that further enhance the integration of the BH GravelX R.
