Framing the Neuron is really simple: it is the ultimate trail bike. Efficient for long climbs and equally capable on more technical trails thanks to 130mm of travel. With the 2020 version the Neuron AL acquires all the technical improvements of the Neuron CF, already awarded in many tests.
The Neuron embodies the spirit of mountain biking in the truest sense of the word and has always been one of the top sellers in the Canyon range. Over the years, the bike has evolved technologically and in design, always proving to be in step with the progress of mountain biking.
The version presented today unveils a completely new design frame equipped with a horizontal shock absorber that replaces the previous model with vertical suspension. The excursion remains 130 mm but the feeling is all new, thanks to the introduction of the three-phase kinematics that equips many other Canyon full suspension models. The system guarantees high sensitivity in the first part of the excursion, excellent support in the middle of the travel and an extremely progressive curve in the last part, eliminating the feeling of bottom-out. The result of the design efforts is superb ride comfort, efficiency in the pedaling phases and descent skills clearly above the average for the segment. The geometry is optimized around the large 29-inch wheels for the larger sizes while in the 2XS, XS and S sizes, the bike is equipped with 27.5 ”(650B) wheels. This feature allows smaller riders to benefit from the same dynamic qualities as bikes in larger sizes.

The other great novelty of the Neuron AL is the availability of a specific model for younger riders: the Neuron AL Young Hero, a bike specifically made for those who want to grow up on a real full bike. Suitable for stature equal to or greater than 140 cm, the new bike is equipped with quality components adapted to specific measures to guarantee high performance at a price of only € 1,499. In the range, in addition to the Neuron AL 6.0 and WMN 6.0 (€ 1,799) there are models 7.0 and WMN 7.0 (€ 2,199) *. The new Neuron AL and Neuron Young Hero will be available from April 2nd exclusively on canyon.com.
