Today great tests on the technical and modern path presented in Brazil, precisely in Petropolis. A week after the first world cup, many top riders participated to test the route at race pace. It will certainly be an advantage for these athletes but, as we know, the leg always counts.
During the night there was a downpour and therefore in some points technical difficulties were added to the route. The women's event was the first to be held and the outgoing Olympic champion Yolanda Neff he dominated, giving technical lessons on the wet circuit.
Jolanda Neff won with more than 6 minutes ahead of Laura Stigger, who reappeared after an injury, and Evie Richards.

Martin Vidaurre is not afraid of the Elite
martin vidaurre wins his first international test of the year with the U23 rainbow jersey on his shoulders. Here, however, there was a lower level of participation compared to the women's competition, but always with some prestigious names, such as the Romanian Vlad Dascalu, who could not, however, against the young Chilean.
Thomas Litscher completed the podium and David Valero finished 5th.
