Lots of hope for Eleonora Farina: she rides gasa, she's fit and knows the route very well. The perfect run may not be utopia. The Italian champion Veronica Widmann is also waiting for a good test.
CROSS COUNTRY
Nino Schurter he will be very fierce after that world victory and is looking for cup winning record. Outsiders, so to speak, could be Vlad Dascalu (Trek Factory, he deserves a victory) and Christopher Blevins (Specialized), the latter reborn on the American continent. David Valero (BH) was very perky during the world race and Snowshoe managed to give the winning push. Great expectations for Luca Braidot who runs at home and is in great shape, as in all of this 2022.
In the women's field the races are always very open even if Pauline Ferrand Prevot he demolished the competition at the World Cup, including Jolanda Neff and Loana Lecomte.
