The UCI Mercedes-Benz World Cup makes a stop in Nové Město, where the more than 30.000 people who usually gather at the Vysočina Arena can enjoy a double show. The track winds from the stadium towards the surrounding hills before returning again to the pit of the public on the stands. The elevation gain is not high, but there is no easy way to complete the 3,7km circuit, which will test the bodies and bikes of the best bikers in the world. The climbs that await them are short, but steep and the planned descents are even steeper if possible. Mitas Choice and Mercedes-Benz Rock 'n' Roll are the two most technical rock sessions.

In the women's field last Sunday, Jolanda Neff beat the competition in a clear way, proved to have found the leg of the best days, so she can only be the great favorite. In the same way, we cannot question the talent of Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, who after two good placings will want to fight for the top step of the podium.
Among the men Schurter returned to victory in Albstadt, but had to struggle against Maxime Marotte and Mathieu Van der Poel.
