HIGHLIGHTS 2019
The last edition in Andorra was in 2019, a race that saw the victory of Nino Schurter e Anne Terpstra. Here are the highlights of that edition:
DOWNHILL
In downhill number one favourites Amaury Pierron e Myriam Nicoland: the 2 French athletes have shown that when they are in shape there are always the athletes to beat. In the men's field there are many contenders for victory: the athletes are very close and small mistakes are enough to make you lose important positions. To report the American driver Norton Dakotah, given by Pippo Marani as a favorite in a comment on our Facebook. Among the women, we will cheer on Eleonora Farina: the athlete from Trentino, with a little luck, could aspire to absolute victory but she must hope that Nicole and Balanche are not as flawless as ever, otherwise it is not easy at all.
CROSS COUNTRY
Turning to cross country, how nice a second win by Luke Braidot? It has demonstrated excellent condition a Lenzerheide but the agonistic wickedness of Nino Schurter and Mathias Fluckiger's top form won't be easy to keep at bay. We are also waiting for Gerhard Kerschbaumer, in crescendo of condition (9th a Lenzerheide). In the women's field, the French Loana lecomte she showed that she is in top form, just in view of the World Championships to be held in Les Gets at the end of August. It won't be easy for Jenny Rissveds and company to take her out of 1st place. To keep an eye on Martina Berta: after the 8th place a Lenzerheide he is certainly growing in form, given his return from a long injury.
