After immediately appendix surgery last monthJackson Goldstone has not been able to recover quickly in time for the World Cup as the process of returning to racing is taking longer than he hoped.

Really sad not to have Jackson Goldstone with us in Scotland. Luckily he's on the right side of recovery and we can't wait to get his energy back in the pits – Team Syndicate

Henrique Avancini will also participate in the Marathon World Championships, won by him in 2018. Avancini doesn't seem to be in the form he used to be but he is an opponent to keep an eye on, especially in the Marathon where the course could suit his characteristics.
