After 18 years, the World Cup returns to Les Gets: in the far 2004 we saw the victory of Julien Absalon between the Elite and of Nino Schurter among the Juniors. The date will be from 24 to 28 August and all off-road tests will be hosted, namely XCO, XCC, XCR, DH and e-MTB.
FAVORITES
ELITE MEN
Favorite number 1 of the men's race will be the English Tom Pidcock, returning from recent victory at the MTB European Championships. Behind him many suitors who will want to change their minds to bookmakers: first of all, Nino Schurter, to get even more into history by aiming for the 10th rainbow jersey, and Titouan Carod, who a Mont Sainte Anne won with a disarming ease. In excellent shape David valero, winner a Snowshoe in the World Cup, Filippo Colombo and our Luca Braidot (Santa Cruz FSA), just returned from Livigno to prepare for the world championship appointment in the best possible way.

ELITE WOMEN
The favorite seems to be Loana Lecomte, winner of the European MTB title a few days ago. To keep an eye on the expert Pauline Ferrand Prevot, who finished the European Championship in 2nd place. Jolanda Neff had shown Mont Sainte Anne that she was back, but she did not shine at the European Championship. However, she remains among the favorites. At home in Italy, we hope for a good performance by Martina Berta who has already conquered some important top 10 in the last rounds of the World Cup. Jenny Rissveds will not be at the start, for a cold in Mont Sainte Anne. Too bad because she was one of the favorites.

UNDER23
The Italians have good chances in both men and women: in the men we have the duo Filippo Fontana (Carabinieri) and Simone Avondetto (Wilier Pirelli, reigning European U23 champion) who can play the rainbow jersey, always martin vidaurre permitting. In fact, the Chilean phenomenon has shown an embarrassing superiority in some situations.
Among women, Giada Specia (Wilier Pirelli) and Sara Cortinovis (Santa Cruz FSA) have always proved to be at the level of the best under23 internationally, rarely coming out of the top 10. We hope for a day of grace.

E-BIKE
We remind you that there will also be the rainbow jersey for the e-bike categories and at the start, for Italy, there will be Andrea Garibbo and Martino Fruet.
