Victor Koretzky, French who finished 4th place in the Cross Country World Championships won by Pidcock, at the finish line he takes it out on the public and makes the umbrella gesture.
It is a protest against the decision of theUCI to benefit other athletes to the detriment of bikers. In fact, Victor indicates the number and then launches into these nasty gestures (see video below). Honestly, in our opinion, these are a bit too blatant gestures that the public didn't deserve. Chocolate medal for this world championship, very happy with the result and the sensations finally return. Congratulations to Tom on a great race!
