MTB Talks: off to the first international conference on mountain biking


Reconcile the development of tourist resorts and tourism with the commitment to maintain sustainable tourism that respects the place and its inhabitants. With this assumption, mountain biking can certainly play a decisive role and be the right recipe for achieving both objectives.

On the weekend of 2-3 October, in the splendid Dolomiti Paganella area, the eagerly awaited "MTB Talks" kicks off, the first international conference on mountain biking organized in Italy organized by Dolomiti Paganella Bike in collaboration with Bike Connection Agency and Andalo Holidays.

The theme? "Trails to a better future" - an exchange of ideas and perspectives on how mountain biking can become the catalyst for the development of new and more sustainable forms of tourism, in response to problems such as seasonality , climate change, lack of infrastructure and overexploitation of specific areas.

Two days of speeches and presentations from representatives of some of the most prestigious and interesting MTB destinations in the world, to learn from their successes and challenges. In addition, there will be the opportunity to meet and discuss with operators in the sector with your same interests during a "happy hour", enjoying the delights of typical Trentino cuisine, before a second day that will begin with stimulating group workshops and then end by bike. , on the splendid trails of the Dolomiti Paganella Bike Park.

The parterre of the interventions, both by theme and by the skills of the talkers, is very interesting and allows to collect different points of view and points of discussion and international perspectives that will surely enrich the knowledge of those present.

The weekend program begins with lunch on Saturday 2 October to enter, then, in the heart of the conference for the whole afternoon which will end with a happy hour during which you can continue the knowledge and deepen the topics covered and the fantastic and informal BBQ supported by Cranckbrothers.

The next day will be dedicated to the group workshop on the paths of the Dolomiti Paganella Bike area. For those who wish, then, you can end the day in the saddle among the paths of the Dolomiti Paganella Bike Park.
